I’m 61 live in the UK and all my life have struggled with faith. Whilst I can accept the New testament I struggle with the old testament. I believe the earth is 13 billion years old and that we evolved from apes. I find when reading about Abraham being commanded to sacrifice Issac horrific as well as the book of Job he lost everything over a wager. The book Jonah being swallowed by a fish. Yet I can as I have stated believe in Jesus in the New Testament and accept that he is the saviour and redeemer. Does anyone else struggle with this. I wrote about this a number of years ago and the flak I received from supposedly loving Christians was far from loving, so I’m expecting no less for writing this but I would like how people dealt with conflicts like these.

Does it come in KJV? I can’t find any in KJV

On two separate occasions, in my own case one time I was praying for a lady who I did not know at Church up at the altar and I was praying in tongues, and afterwards she approached me and asked if I’ve spoken Armenian and I indicated that I did not know any Armenian and she said well I could understand what you were saying When you were praying in tongues The second example happened to someone else that I know at church and they were worshipping during a worship service and praying and singing in tongues, and afterwards two Greek ladies came up who were visiting and started speaking to this individual in Greek and of course, my friend did not speak any Greek And the two ladies understood what my friend was saying when worshipping God speaking in tongues There are many examples like this. These are just two, one of which is my own personal experience, and 1 was close friend of mine.

I am not suggesting that there are not some Pentecostal churches who are not operating correctly. Obviously they do exist, but they are not representative of the doctrine in scripture.

People have a natural fear of the supernatural if they don’t understand what’s going on, and people have a real fear about experiencing God, they simply just want peace in their heart, but they don’t want to go beyond that, and they’re missing out on something magnificent and significant that God wants them to have

Well, I just found this channel and I just found this host on the channel and I’m late to the common session but it’s not true that there is pressure in Pentecostal circles to speak in tongues, like everything in the Bible they naturally want you to experience everything God has for you so there will be a lot of encouragement for you to seek God to receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit, this is not peer pressure Speaking in tongues is a gift from God and I’m so surprised when Christian‘s tear to pieces or suggesting it passed away, which is evidently not the case The pentecostal movement in the broad scope of the word spread around the world, and it’s well known that the demonstration of the Holy Spirit is how we spread the gospel In fact, the driving reason why people have not been converted to Christ in more mass numbers is the absence of the demonstration of the Holy Spirit The apostle Paul said he did not come with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in a demonstration of the Holy Spirit, and of power that your faith would rest in the power of God, and not in the wisdom of men Everything about the Bible and Christianity is supernatural, and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit is very supernatural and the baptism in the Holy Spirit is supernatural, and the apostle Paul in the book of acts every time he meets believers asks if they’ve yet received the Holy Spirit That speaking in tongues is for every believer and for today is virtually indisputable if you read the scripture and take it intellectually honest

I know this is random. But the reason I follow you and Chad brooks vs other preachers, is that y’all don’t spend all your time tearing down other Christian’s for what they believe. Y’all spend your time helping all people to come to the lord. Thank you for helping people in a way that all people can participate. I truly believe that is what the master wants all preachers to do. Does it come in KJV

Where the glue sticks/crafting isle are at my local Walmart has a plethora of glue types to choose from. The one that he's using looks like the one that you can use for pictures and photos and scrapbooking, because it's repositionable and it shouldn't tear off of those thin type pages like say in a bible or on cardstock. I've had that mishap before with elmers glue because I didn't know what type to get which is why He's testing it here in a cheaper bible. I've messed up my nicer bible with hot glue and it made me cry a little. But that is how we learn 😢😅😊

I know that the size and cover of a Bible matters. Yet it is so hard to find a translation that I can trust and has the correct reading when sooooooooooo many translations are merely revisions of each other. It is said that the NKJV, NASB, ESV, WEB, and others are "literal" translations. I am not an expert in Greek, but it drives me nuts I can find errors that scholars miss and keep mistranslating OVER and OVER and OVER and OVER and OVER and OVER and OVER again!!!!!!!!!!! How can I ask a N.T. Greek scholar for help when many people know that there are already "too many" English Bibles out there?

I'm being so drawn to the nasb. I have been reading the kjv my entire life. I was stuck in the kjv inly midnset for WAY to long. My ignorance and legalism was astronomical! Thank God we are not saved by our works!! Im really really drawn to the cambridge clarion nasb. It looks so cool. The format draws me. The single column looks more like a diary then a "bible." As if God took the time to write out sn entire book and im reading His perosnal diary. So i think im going to make the move on an NASB Clarion Bible. Thank you for this video!! To me, the nasb sounds the most clear to me. I really like it. Thanks!!❤

Pentecostal churches should just come clean on speaking in tongues because the way things are done in these churches is not biblical at all.

You will never have power or faith until you return to what God promised to preserve and protect, perfect and pure, his holy Word-Psalms Chapter 12. Now, He either did that for the past 400 years (KJV), and millions found Christ and eternal life, or He's a liar. You decide. But faith cometh by hearing (Him), and hearing (Him), cometh by the Word of God. Does your version want you to fast and pray, drawing ever closer to this loving, self-sacrificing Christ? Min does, Proverbs 18:1(KJV) Google it.

What is the short prayer you pray before reading scripture? I think something like speak Holy Spirit

Jesus is our whole Model, and throughout his ministries he never spoke in tongues, not once. Ask yourself this question?

The red line on notebook paper is because 100 yrs ago or so mice would take a bite out of the edge of paper so students were to write only on the right side of that line.
